Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed by the Customer (hereinafter referred to as "you") to HILSTOR ApS (CVR No. 41469722 ), hereinafter referred to as "HILSTOR", "us" or " we ", on the HILSTOR website, the mobile website, mobile applications or over the phone, (collectively called" Hilstor ")

By using Hilstor and / or placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions. (“The conditions"). Please make sure that you have read and understood the terms before placing your order.

Only persons who are 18 years of age are not under guardianship, who have a delivery address in Denmark, with the exception of Greenland and the Faroe Islands, as well as companies that forward mail, can place an order. Orders paid by debit and persons can place gift cards over the age of 15.

The inclusion of a product or service on Hilstor at any given time does not imply or guarantee that these products or services will be available at any time. We reserve the right to discontinue products at any time.

We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time without notice to you. The conditions that will apply to your order will be those set out on Hilstor at the time you place your order.

HILSTOR wants to offer the best possible experience at Hilstor. To do that, we need to make sure our services work perfectly. You agree and agree not to

  1. post, transmit, transmit, upload or promote any messages or content that may harm or adversely affect our company, products or services;
  2. act in such manner or use any device or device that restricts, obstructs, interferes with, or prevents other users from using or enjoying the Hilstor Web Site, or which affects the security of the Web Site, or

HILSTOR is a mediator and supplier of a number of different services, products and consumer goods, including within the categories, kitchen utensils, furnishings and products for sports and outdoor activities.

You have the opportunity to place orders with HILSTOR via either hilstor.com or by phone. See our customer service page for more information.

Once you place your order and if you provide your email address, you will receive a confirmation email. If for some reason we cannot process your order, you will hear from us as soon as possible.

If we have already received payment for the order, we will attempt to refund that amount through the same payment method you used. If, for any reason, alternative arrangements are needed, an HILSTOR staff to arrange a refund of the amount will contact you.

For consumer customers, the prices shown on Hilstor.com include VAT but excluding delivery fee.

For business customers, the prices shown on Hilstor.com are exclusive of VAT and excluding delivery fee.

HILSTOR is free to change the stated prices without prior notice. If a printing error has occurred and the buyer should know or know that there is a printing error, the buyer cannot get the printing error price. HILSTOR may at any time cancel an order that has occurred due to a printing error on the price.

All orders are subject to shipping costs. When ordering, you can see the final price, which includes VAT, taxes and any shipping costs.

HILSTOR takes great care and thorough care when approving and processing orders, and we will do our utmost to deliver your order to a place of residence or post office in Denmark, whichever way you choose. Unfortunately we cannot deliver to Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

HILSTOR endeavors to dispatch orders as soon as possible and in the order in which they were placed. We try to deliver within 1 to 2 business days after confirming an order, unless otherwise agreed.

Although we try to deliver before these delivery times, delivery can take longer due to unexpected complications. If it is unfortunate that the delivery time exceeds 30 days, you can cancel your order.

In some cases, we also offer delivery the same day you order the item, provided the order is confirmed within a given time of day.

Before you place your order, you will be informed of the expected delivery time. Once you place your order, if you have provided your e-mail address, you will receive a confirmation with information about the expected delivery time via e-mail.

All products and goods purchased from HILSTOR remain the property of HILSTOR until the time of delivery. This means that the risk of loss and / or damage is borne by HILSTOR until the time of delivery has taken place. The time of delivery is considered when the item has been delivered to the shipper.

You can cancel or return your order from the date you placed your order and up to 14 days after receiving the ordered goods. The right of withdrawal expires 14 days after the day you received the goods.

If you paid for the goods, you will be reimbursed the amount, including delivery fee but exclusive return costs of DKK 50, if you have had goods returned to HILSTOR using a return label. If you choose to keep some items and cancel only part of your order, the delivery fee will not be refunded. You can find our Return Policy at Hilstor

If you want to cancel or return your order, preferably using the printed return label that comes with your package. Contact customer service Alternatively, by completing and submitting the standard form that you receive by contacting the Consumer Council, at least within 14 days, as set out in Section 5.1 above. You then have another 14 days to return the item to us as listed in Section 6 (Returns) below.

We will reimburse the amount and try to use the same method of payment method used (or if the goods have not yet been paid, return the goods in your bank statement) as soon as possible and within 14 days of receipt of your cancellation notice, provided we have received the goods or received documentation that you have returned the goods.

If a HILSTOR gift card is used as a full or partial payment, a digital credit certificate will be issued. For more information, see Return Policy. Other forms of repayment may be used provided you have consented to this change. This will not trigger additional costs.

If the item you received is defective, please promptly notify HILSTOR and return the item in accordance with Section 6 (Returns) below. HILSTOR provides full reimbursement for all products considered to be defective. These conditions do not limit any applicable statutory rights.

HILSTOR guarantees full refunds of all returned goods in accordance with Section 5 Order Cancellation, provided all goods are returned in the same condition as you received them. This means that the goods must not be damaged, dirty, washed, changed or used (for anything other than trying them on) and that all price tags and labels must be intact.

All our packages include a printed return slip that you will need if you want to return an item.

You can deliver the goods to be returned to a post office or parcel box in Denmark.

Please note that it may take up to 14 days for your transaction to complete.

Return of defective goods:

If the item you have received is defective, please notify HILSTOR immediately and return the item in accordance with the procedure in this section.

If, upon receipt of the item, you find that it is defective, please submit a complaint to hilstor.com and enclose photos of the defect with the item. We will then contact you within 1-2 business days. You can alternatively contact us by email: contact@hilstor.com

In the event of a defective item being found, you can choose between either canceling the purchase without returning the item or having a new item sent to you. The procedure for returning the goods will take place as follows:

Return without re-delivery:

For defective items with a value of up to DKK 75 - you will receive a refund of the item's full amount without having to send the item back. The refund is excl. possible transaction fees and card fees.

For defective items with a value exceeding DKK 75 - you return the defective item to us and then receive a refund of the item's full amount when we receive the item in our warehouse. The refund is excl. possible transaction fees and card fees. HILSTOR is responsible for the return costs.

Return with re-delivery:

For items up to a value of DKK 75 - You will receive a new item, against payment of the delivery costs again. You keep the defective item.

For defective items with a value exceeding DKK 75 - Please return the defective item to us. After we receive the defective item, we will send you a new item, against payment of the delivery costs.

HILSTOR is responsible for the return costs for the defective item.

The items are returned 14 days after you have made us aware that the item is defective.

You will receive information regarding the return address for the goods after you have contacted us.

The rules of the Purchase Act apply to purchases of goods. You therefore have a 24 month right to make a complaint if there are defects in your product. You therefore have the opportunity to have the item repaired, exchanged, the money returned or a reduction in the price, all depending on the specific situation that HILSTOR decides on.

The right to make a complaint does not apply if the defect has arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damaging behavior.

You can pay for your goods with different payment methods as listed below.

Debit or credit cards:
You can enter your payment information when ordering, using a valid credit or debit card (VISA or Mastercard). The amount will be immediately booked on your card but will not be withdrawn until the goods have been shipped. HILSTOR reserves the right to check the validity of the credit or debit card, the amount of credit in relation to the order amount and whether the buyer's address information is correct. We may reject orders depending on the outcome of this check.

When you pay via PayPal, HILSTOR reserves the right to check the validity of the PayPal account, credit the account and obtain a verified billing address. The amount in question will be immediately booked into your PayPal account, but will not be deducted from your account until the goods have been shipped from our warehouse. HILSTOR reserves the right to reject any purchase or offer an alternative payment method.

HILSTOR Gift Cards:
You can choose to pay your order in whole or in part with HILSTOR gift cards. Read more about HILSTOR gift cards and how they can be combined with other payment methods here.

Payment through MobilePay:
Payment is made using your Smartphone with the MobilePay app connected to your payment card.

In order for you to enter into an agreement with us and shop at hilstor.com, we need the following

information about you: Name, delivery address, payment address, e-mail information, payment information for use by our payment provider and telephone number in certain cases.

The processing takes place in accordance with the rules in our Personal Data Policy.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits HILSTOR's liability in relation to matters where it would be unlawful for us to limit or exclude our liability.

HILSTOR is not responsible for breakdowns or temporary interruptions on our website, breakdowns in power supply or internet connection, vandalism of the system (both physical as well as computer viruses and hacking), misuse of personal information or other circumstances and circumstances beyond HILSTOR's control. It can not be guaranteed that you can use downloaded files on all computers, and when using the files it will always be assumed that you are in possession of software that can open / read the relevant file.

Product liability

For such damages, which are directly covered by Act No. 481 of 7 June 1989 on product liability, the provisions of the Act apply.

With regard to product liability that is not covered by the provisions of the above-mentioned law, the following restrictions apply:

HILSTOR is only liable for personal injury if it is proven that the injury is due to error or negligence committed by HILSTOR or others for whom HILSTOR is responsible.

HILSTOR is liable for damage to real property and movable property on the same terms as for personal injury.

HILSTOR and the customer are mutually obligated to be prosecuted in the court or arbitral tribunal which hears claims for damages brought against one of them on the basis of damage allegedly caused by the material.

If we violate these conditions, we will only be liable for losses, which are a reasonably foreseeable consequence of such violation.

HILSTOR is not responsible for any indirect losses resulting from the primary loss or damage, e.g. lost profit or opportunity or failure to deliver goods or wasted costs; HILSTOR is not responsible for failure to deliver goods in cases where failure is caused by an incident beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, flood, hurricane, insurgency, civil unrest, war, nuclear accident and terrorist attack.

Our maximum liability to you for any loss or damage arising from your order on hilstor.com is limited to the total amount of your order.

We reserve the right to make technical errors, printing errors, delivery delays and a limited number of items in stock.

If you have problems with a product you purchased on Hilstor and you cannot resolve the problem in collaboration with HILSTOR, you can submit your complaint to the EU's Online Dispute Resolution Platform (the "ODR Platform"). The ODR platform allows consumers and businesses within the EU to reach an out-of-court settlement of complaints related to online purchases. This unified portal has been developed to be a user-friendly and interactive free web page available in all EU official languages. By using the ODR platform, the consumer and the company can choose an out-of-court appeal body and then go through the process to find a solution to the customer's complaint. We make every effort to show the properties of our products as accurately as possible, including composition and current colours. The colour you see depends on your computer system, so we cannot guarantee that your computer will display the colours correctly

An item's goals on Hilstor are only approximate values to give you a better idea of the individual item's model or fit - they are not a guarantee of the actual objectives of the item you are receiving. The actual dimensions of a product may vary depending on the material from which it is made.

If there are defects in the goods you have purchased from HILSTOR, HILSTOR complies with all statutory warranty rules. If you wish to complain of any obvious material or manufacturing defects in goods we have supplied, including damage caused during transportation, please notify us by returning the goods to us immediately, using the accompanying pre-printed return form.

HILSTOR reserves the right to assign or pledge to third parties any claim(s) for payment [including any payment installments], which have arisen in connection with the delivery of goods. If any part of these Terms is disallowed or found to be ineffective by any court or regulator, the other Terms shall continue to apply.

Licensee All intellectual property rights, such as trademarks and copyrights on Hilstor, remain the property of HILSTOR ApS and its subsidiaries or licensors. Any use of Hilstor or HILSTOR's content, including full or partial copying or storage of the content, in addition to personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without the permission of HILSTOR.

When you write your recommendation for a product through HILSTOR's customer ratings and reviews, you provide HILSTOR, via Hilstor.com hereinafter referred to as “HILSTOR�, a non-exclusive, royalty-free, and global the right to use your written recommendations for marketing and / or advertising purposes, including, but not limited to, Hilstor; in newsletters, catalogs, emails and other forms of customer communication; for store materials, as well as for other marketing purposes.

By accepting our terms and conditions, you authorize HILSTOR to review and edit your recommendation before it is published on Hilstor. Please note that comments are only published with useful and relevant information to other customers about an HILSTOR product. This is subject to, but not limited to, HILSTOR, therefore, not publishing comments of generally inappropriate nature, obscene or inappropriate language, or information that may identify a person. We reserve the right at any time to delete any customer review without notice.

HILSTOR is under no obligation to provide a fee for the use of your texts and any copyright to them in connection with assessments and reviews is as described above. You hereby agree that HILSTOR and any person acting on HILSTOR's behalf are exempt from all requirements and obligations in connection with the use of the Customer Recommendations described above. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice.

Any dispute arising out of your purchase through HILSTOR and on the website or the resulting disputes, including the scope or validity of these terms and conditions, is subject to Danish law and must be brought before Glostrup City Court.
